Sam, every single penny that we raise will go towards this site, road trips, show classes and to worthy fish-related causes.

Actually my deck needs to be replaced............
I keep a tub next to it during the summer so isn't that a worthy fish related cause? :)
We will publish what we gross, net and expenses incurred for the website and auction. I would also like for us to be involved with aquarium societies such as NJAS.

I have a used Fluval 405 canister filter that is about 5 years old. I recently switched to a differnet filter that allowed me to add a UV sterilizer. Do you think the Fluval 405 (with filer media) would be a good item to include in the auction? They retail new for $200.
In the interest of full disclosure, the filter works fine once it is up and running. If you are familiar with Fluvals, they can be a little bit of a pain getting them restarted after cleaning, and the filter head has to have a tight, even seal to prevent leaks.

Is it going to be a 10 table system?

Is it going to be a 10 table system?
No.
Fish will be brought up at the discretion of the triage person. That would be me and any assistant.
Pre-registered lots with red dots and donations will have priority status.

What is going to be the split? Is this the same place that we used to have the nycichlid auctions at?

Ok, now one point I want to make...
Those five auctions that many of us have been to were auctions that were run by mk_ultra, AlishanAS, YAP and myself. We ran the auctions for another website...that website did not run those auctions. No one from the ownership of that site had anything to do with those auctions, except for pocketing that money, which is why I have nothing to do with whatever they do over there, and telling us that we could not have food catered, something that we are going to make sure we have.
So, in short, yes Mike that is the place that you have been before.
Another point, while I am at it, we will show every dime that was brought in. After the auction is over all you have to do is ask to see our books and we will show them. NONE of us have anything to hide.

Bill, I was not trying to start any trouble or stir the pot. I am not familiar with New Jersey and I wanted to make sure I had the right location.

What species will be auctioned off first? Will it be broken down to Malawi, Tangs, South American's, etc? I only asked because I have to get back to Pa by 3pm for my in-law's gathering :(.

Take a flyer on the in-laws. They'll understand.
We will not be auctioning by location. Donations(fish and dry goods) and pre- registered fish will have a priority although the auction managers will make the final decisions.
If you see a lot that you wish to be auctioned, you can pay a small fee($2.00) to push the lot up.
