Time to gear up for the North Jersey Aquarium Society show and auction on October 24 and 25 respectively.

And it's a wide open field for the show. Mr. All Time Fish Show Winner himself, Larry Jinks, has limited entries this year as he and the wife are relocating below the Mason-Dixon line.

I'm actually entering fish for the first time and there are cash awards. More money to spend at the Sunday auction!

And I hear Joe Jaskot may actually show up for this event.

Phyllonemus typus
Leopard frog pleco, L134
Lethrinops sp. Deep Orange Nkhata Bay, male
Cyprichromis sp. Tricolor, male
Cyprichromis pavo, Moliro, male
Paretroplus menarambo, about 6"
Pelmatochromis buettikoferi
Leporinus fasciatus, about 12"

Are there usually a decent amount of cichlids at this auction?
It may work for me:)

There are usually around 600-900 bags of fish and plants at the auction. Always cichlids there.

There is over $1,000 in cash being awarded to show winning fish in 30 different classes.

It is here! Vendors, raffel on 55 and 38 gallon set ups, dry good raffels, show, and Giant Tropical Fish Auction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't make it. We had an unexpected visit from a family member staying the weekend.

I'll be there Sunday morning to drop off some donations for the auction. I'm also bringing some donations from Chris at Amazon Tropicals.
