Nice little pick up today.
Today Tom and I went "Auction Shopping" at Adam's Pet Safari on Rte 24 in Chester, NJ. At Adam's we were lucky enough to have a chat with Randall Kohn. Randall is one of this countries foremost experts in West African Cichlids.
So, in between picking out all-natural doggy treats and woofing down a few eggs at a local diner with Tom, I decided to have Randall pick out a pair of Westies for me.
I came home with a young pair of Pelvicachromis taeniatus ‘Nyete’. These are the first Westies that I have owned since about 1977 (I know, I do not look that old).

Right now they are being housed in a 20g long with a few Rummy-Nose Tetras (also a pick up today at Adam's).

I know of a really nice group of Malawi that are being donated by a very-well-respected Sponsor of ours. These will be mine (after I outbid everyone) and I will not be a traitor to all of my Malawi people...even you, Sarah.:heh:

Next Bill will be buying Apistos....

We also met member RedDevilRyan at Adam's today. Randall used his Chester mind meld to turn him from Kevin Carr fish(mondo Central Americans) to Anton Lamboj fish. Ryan was busy perusing a fish list from Rehoboth Aquatics.
