NLS 2mm...

Today I found out that New Life Spectrum (NLS) has introduced a 2mm sinking pellet to its line of fish foods.
IMO the new 2mm would be great for those Haps and Mbuna that are just a bit too large to be seeking out the little 1mm pellets. They also make the 2mm in Thera+A.

Agreed. I always thought the 1mm was too small while the 3mm too large for some of the fish I keep.

I have some big Haps that would definately appreciate the 2mm size. I feed them the 1mm NLS now,but these guys have really bad table manners and the little pellets go in all directions. I will definately try the larger size. Dainichi makes a "small" size pellet that I also use but it is way bigger than the 1mm NLS.

I just opened a new bucket of what I thought was 1mm. I noticed it was larger than it usually is. I think they put the wrong size in this bucket. I am gonna look at it when I get home to make sure. But it is larger foe sure.

So far all i've found is 150gr on Aquabid. I've checked Jehmco and Big Al's and they don't have it yet. Anyone have any luck finding any? I'm about a week or 2 from making a food order.

It smells like a vampire killer convention in my rec room. I tried out some new life spectrum pellets that contain garlic. 2 hours after I put some in all of the tanks it smells like a russian mob in front of the meat section at shop rite!!
I decided to mix the pellets in with 2 other types of pellets and only use 1 part nlf to 3 parts of the other types.

I got the 2 ml pellet and it is good for the mbuna. Not much dif from the 1mm. I will still get the 3 mm for my haps. Most likely wont buy it again and stick with the 1 and 3 mm. If I had only adult mbuna I would use the 2mm
