We are asked these questions quite a bit, so let me help out...
What time will the auction end?
There is really no way of knowing this. We have no idea until the auction starts on how many lots will be auctioned off. Last auction there were 467 lots auctioned off. We started at Noon and ended around 5:30pm.
How can I bid?
Very simple. You buy a bidder card for $2...sellers who have pre-registered before Midnight October 9th will get their card for free. The auction has an auctioneer and you raise your bidder card when you want to bid on an item.
I am interested in a lot, but do I have to wait until it is brought up to be auctioned off?
You can wait, or for a $2 fee you can have the lot "pushed". This means that the lot will be brought up immediately and auctioned off as soon as possible.
Will there be a break to look at the lots?
No break. This auction will be running straight thru. This is why we ask you to get there around 11am to review the lots being auctioned off.
Can I help out in any way?
ABSOLUTELY. We always need runners. We want our runners to take breaks and would always love to see others pick up for them.
Can I bring fish to be auctioned off?
Yes, but there are rules.

Please read the rules very carefully if you want to be a seller.
If you believe that there is a chance that we might refuse your fish because of an abnormality, sickness or injury then you are right...we will.
What time can I arrive?
If you aren't pre-registered then the time to do it will be between 9-11am. From 11am-Noon you will be able to review the lots. Hopefully at Noon sharp the auction will begin.
Is there parking?
Not much. Last auction there were people who parked as far as three blocks away. The neighborhood is relatively safe.
IS there food?
Absolutely.
We have two ladies who cook for us. They will be making breakfast and lunch for us. The prices for the food are made up by the Knights of Columbus Hall, and the proceeds go to them.
Are there vendors?
Yup, and two great vendors at that.
Steve and Nancy of South Central Cichlids and Bill Arndt of yourfishstuff.com .
Please stop by and say hello to them...and buy as well.:)
