I played a little this weekend and tried to get a few good ones without a flash.

Nice shot's , did you increase the regular lighting to compensate for the flash.

AquaPred I was trying to get the blue in my microlepidotus to come out and I was trying 2 different T5 lights. I had 2 48" 48 watt lights on my tank and decided to try both instead of the 1 i usually have on top. Now i have a great spectrum of light and a lot more of it.

I also used a tripod. A big help.
