I absolutely am breeding them.
I have no idea where BCAS is, I would love to find otu more if you have a link. I have three species of cray now (the cpo's, the blue version of cambarellus, and then marmokrebs). The marmokrebs are a self-cloning cray, great for feeders for larger invertebrate eating fish.

They are omnivores, neat little critters. I keep them in a tank with a pH of 7.8 and moderate hardness. They are plant safe, fish safe, and other invert safe though they can be a little scrappy to each other. they need a tank with adequate hiding spaces (caves, driftwood, plants, etc) for after they moult to protect them from predation. They are not shy and are so far very easy to keep.
