While my partner and myself were hanging out in front of our station a cat came up to us and started to rub against our legs. I was shocked because I never had a stray cat do this to me before. I was able to pick her up and pet her. She soon fell asleep on my lap. We started to feed her on a daily basis. But I became concerned for her safety because my station is 3 blocks away from yankee stadium. We all know this is not a good neighborhood. I am afraid that she will rub up against the wrong person and be used to train pitbulls. What topped everything off is when I walked into my station and saw my lieutenant spray her with a fire extinguisher. I took her home last night but I have no room for her. I already have 4 cats, 2 ferrets and a parrot plus fish. I am trying to find her a good home. I checked her for flees and ear mites. I did not see any. I also gave her a bath. She is not afraid of the water. If you are interested in her or know some one looking for a cat please pm me.
