Water changes and salt.

Do a 25% water change.
Add Sea Salt or Kosher Salt...ONLY!
1 1/2 tablespoons of salt for every 5 gallons of water.

Wait about 2 or 3 days...
Repeat.

I know that people will tell you to medicate, but try this method first.

Yea, what FF said. Whenever I notice any fungus I always add salt. If you have no salt in your water already, I generally start out with no more than 1 teaspoon to 10 Gal's. After, you can bring it up to 1 teaspoon to 5 Gal's. I only use marine salt. If it is Fungus, it should clear up in a few days with the salt.

Could he be just old and nearing the end. Of all africans fronts are usually the least susceptable to anything. I might label them the hardiest of all. And where's my pic of the red albino peacock John ? Call me about the shelves please.
