Here is a great little heater for anyone looking to warm up a room (144 sq feet) or to take a chill out of a room.
This model is $37.99, the model with the timer option is about $20 more.

I believe that it is made by DeLonghi, but has the Kenwood label on it.

Have you tried any of ceramic disk type heaters? I have had good luck with them and they take up no room at all

April last year I bought two at the HD near me for $25.00! They were on clearance. I use one and put the other one away for backup.

Mine says made by Holmes....same heater.

I have 2 that I bought at Bed Bath and Beyond for around 25 bucks each.

I was afraid to use something like that especially when there was no one home. I ended up buying a hard wired dayton heater that does an unbelievable job. I have a slightly higher electric bill, maybe 30 bucks a month but it heats the entire room and the laundry room so I don't need heaters in the tanks. I have one that I bought from a friend. He had it as an extra one in case his broke down. After 10 years he gave up and sold me the new old one for 200 bucks. It's similar to this

There are some portable heaters that have safety features such as shutting off when overheated or when tipped over.
Definitely a huge plus if you are in the market.
