My experience with CA/SA in next to zero. But... Mo, let me ask this, do your fish really look like the pictures or it was the camera lence? Would you take a few pictures using a camera phone for comparison purpose?

They do. You have to rmember one thing. I am throwing a LOT of light on these fish. Never less than two...and more often three flash units and a reflector. The other thing is that I never show a photo that I am not 100% happy with.

BUT for my buddies here on the east coast, I went down to the tank with the Synspilum and took an available light photo with my Iphone. Note...my name is no where on the photo...LOL

Mo, would you mind next time you take photos to take another camera and photograph your whole set up, just so we can see how you take those photos! I am particularly interested in seeing how you arrange your slave flashes and reflectors since I eventually want to invest in a professional dslr and flash and reflector umbrellas from B&H...that won't happen unless I get a job, or you feel like donating some old equipment to a certain young guy down on the jersey shore :).

Anyway great photos. How big is that Synspilum? I remember seeing photographs of them you posted last year I think. You should also do more videos... your youtube account has been pretty inactive:boink:

I agree. However it is a Central American cichlid. This one from Mexico.

I have the photo somewhere already. I looked for it and couldn't find it right off. I will post it when I do.
