They started swimming today about 20 of them. I have a batch of 20 then my male died and then Dave Brevia gave me a pair but his male bred with my larger female.

When they were alone they did not breed. Then I added these and they started breeding:

I love caudo's they are like L.brichardi but smaller and aggressive but not as aggressive, less territorial and look great. That light body color with the bright red - orange color dorsal nice fish. And LFS's take them like candy. And doesn't that make you relatives now ???

MK_ultra sold me 4 and they are breeding in a 10 for me too :)

I know this is an old thread- but I now have an adult group of these guys. They are about 2-2.5" so I would guess they are breedable.
How can you tell their gender? Am I looking for gray bars on the male and an absence of them on the female?
Is there any difference in their finnage?
