I've been keeping Africans for three years and have three display tanks, hope the trend does not continue!:D
I started with Malawi mbuna and added a small, planted Tang tank along the way. Over Thanksgiving I'm starting up the 125G Tanganyika community in my signature. A peacock trio is under consideration for the 38G once I sort out the extra Cynotilapia sp. hara males who will live there short-term.
I struggle with snails and hair algae (in my zero Nitrate planted tank). I have ways to keep them under control, but still working on elimination.
