Looking at my Doctors Foster and Smith catalog in the filter section. This filter the FLUVAL C4 is 264gph and is rated for up to a 70 gal. for $54.99. Compared to the Aqua Clear 70 (also a HAGEN product) it is 300 gph and also rated for a 70 gal. at $44.99.

I been using AC and im very satisfied with it, plus it's cheaper. I would try the fluval filter if I got is on sale just to try it.

I've been using one for about a year on a 40 gal. It works great, but I don't think I would use it as the only filter on anything bigger than a 40. I removed the giant bag of carbon, and used that area for another sponge.
